Extensions Home Care Recommendations:

Brush morning and night: separate your hair by row. starting from the ends of your hair, hold your hair with one hair and a brush with the other, working your way higher and higher. Brush up into the top of your wefts but never over it, always being careful to hold the row to prevent yanking

Brushing:

Wash properly: wet hair. clip top row up and add shampoo, scrubbing above and below the bottom row. shampoo twice to create a lather. drop the next row and repeat. to condition, ring out excess moisture and apply conditioner from the ends and work your way up. avoid slapping on the tops of your rows, but apply what’s left over on your hands to hair closer to roots. comb through the conditioner and rinse.

Shampooing:

ALWAYS:
01.
Use recommended quality products, always using a leave in/heat protectant
02. Limit heat styling and keep hot tool temps low

03. Blow dry tops of handtied wefts, rather than air drying

STEER CLEAR FROM:

01. Avobenzone in conventional sunscreen.
02. Chlorine, pool, ocean, and lake water. if dunking your head, brush your hair, get it wet in shower water first and apply conditioner to mids and ends of hair, style hair in a pony bubble braid. wash and condition immediately after swimming.

03. Digging a claw clip into wefts

04. Any kind of tugging or yanking - go easy on your rows!

WHEN GOING TO BED:

Follow suggested night time routine: brush hair thoroughly, apply oil or serum, and braid hair. we recommend using a silk pillowcase

  • always use a leave in conditioner/heat protectant

  • limit your heat styling when possible

  • keep your hair covered from the sun to prevent color fade

  • use a shower head filter to prevent brassiness and mineral build up
